[She's athletic enough that it isn't difficult to find her way up into the Air mountains. Once she's up at the top, she sits down to take a look at the view, not seeming to mind the wind blowing around her. She's even got her hair down when she notices Lili, raising a hand in greeting.]
[It isn't too long after the trial has concluded that she enters the library. As unhappy as she is with what's happened, she thinks giving a second look to the books here might prove fruitful. She hasn't found anything she thinks could be important in them as of yet, but maybe with the new insight they have into their situation...
Seeing Lili as she enters in, though, gives her pause.]
Looking for something?
[There's concern in her voice, even if the question doesn't see to reflect that.]
[She pauses, though, because hers is a little harder to nail down.]
Anything useful, I guess. I'm not really sure what else to do right now, but we did learn a lot more today. Maybe it'll match up with some information we can find here.
lili will be wandering out and about - and it doesn't seem like she's actually able to see emma when she turns? having loss of one eye sure is a problem. even now, she only has bandages covering the right side of her face given how fresh her wound is.
sorry for the scare that she's inevitably going to give emma when she bumps right into her - ]
[She hisses in pain when her arm is jostled, and she's about to say something decidedly unkind, before she sees who it is - and more importantly, what her current state is.
[That was exhausting and she would be fine without thinking about it again, but there are a few things she needs to settle regardless. When she walks into the garden and sees Lili, she speaks up, looking her way.]
Hey. You got a second? There's something I wanted to talk to you about. [...] A few things, actually.
[She says, as she remember the affair with the water.]
[Once she finds her at the farm, Emma approaches Lili with a small smile on her face. She can't say that wasn't exhausting, but... Everything worked out much better than she thought it would, in all honestly. Lea lived, everyone found out about Shirasu, they found the corrupted, and there's an even number of partnerless.
It's not perfect, but for someone as pessimistic as she can be... Regardless, she speaks up as she sees Lili.]
[When Lili comes across Emma in the kitchen, she seems more than a little tired, and not in the exasperated way she usually is - no, truly exhausted. Still, when she sees Lili enter, she raises a hand in greeting.]
[she was looking for her - almost fearfully. but there was no coffin in the main hall, there was no new announcement of anyone dead, no matter what minato had done - and so she kept looking. throughout the houses, the dining hall, and onward and onwards - until she makes it to the kitchen and.
she stops right where she is when she sees emma, and doesn't answer at first. she's stunned. her feet keep her right where she is and she blinks a few times, as if to make sure that she's not seeing things.
because it's so easy - it's so easy to see the nailbat colliding with her skull, so easy to see the corpse on the ground, so easy to see grotesque sight that was emma and yet wasn't.
it chokes her up and tears spring to her eyes without permission, finally free now that her guard is down
week zero, monday.
Hey there. Come here to enjoy the view?
no subject
What? No, I'm trying to figure out everything that there is here.
Are you just sight-seeing?
no subject
It's been a long weekend. Sue me for taking one second to enjoy the scenery.

[she'll at least be sincere about that. she's thoughtful and it appears as though her hands are resting on her face for some reason?
she doesn't yet turn to look at emma, her eyes moving over the titles]

I'm not interested in being lectured...
[it's only because emma's gotten mad at her before that she thinks she knows what this is about]
Was it reckless? Yes. Did I have a plan? Yes. Was that plan also reckless? Maybe so.
But I'm fine, so I'd rather not linger on it.
