... he wants to help people as much as I do, even though he'll never say so out loud. But he's never questioned me or what I do in order to accomplish that. Even though he's a lot stronger than I am, he's never treated me like something fragile or like I shouldn't be taken seriously.
I think people like him are really impressive.
[the first step to lili's dokis is just getting her to respect you at all]
No, not with you. Trust me, if you were one of the people I was only talking to because I should, you would know. I just meant it’s easier for him in general.
I mean, it's not that different for me. I worked food service, so I also have plenty of experience of talking to people who I hate. I just think I have less patience to deal with it in general.
How am I supposed to try? People here aren't as bad as I thought they'd be but... I couldn't even tell with Swift Wind and I thought he was so straightforward....
[Give her a second, she needs to contend with the fact that someone is asking her for advice on how to deal with people.]
Well - Lune and Sol said that it wasn't just bad things to be on the lookout for. Like, if someone is confident on their own, that's not a bad thing, right? But even a good or neutral part of them like that could get so overblown that it gets bad. Like, if they were suddenly so confident they were convinced they were right all the time and wouldn't listen to anyone else.
No... I think it's things that are in their nature in some way or another. Like, you don't take shit from anyone, right? And that's not a bad thing in itself, but it would be if you suddenly assumed every single person here was stupid and got angry anytime they said anything.

[But she’s a little curious, admittedly.]
What do you like about him, then?
no subject
We get along.
[which she sounds a little surprised about but]

That’s actually kind of sweet.

I'll tell him because that's what I have to do to get his injury healed... but I don't particularly care to hide it either.
[sometimes lili can allow herself to be 17 years old]

[though she looks a little confused before she seems to get an idea in her head]
Are you trying to be my friend, too? This is why I said that you and Lea both have problems with leaving people alone.

[But more seriously:]
He’s about five times friendlier than I am.

[she should KNOW she's now an AUTHORITY ON THIS]

He said that he was in a situation where he had to deal with a lot of people he hated before.
I guess he just learned how to force himself through it.

[lili is probably more aligned to emma than axel in that regard]

I'm not good at that to begin with.

So if they start acting maliciously some way, even if it's not in their nature...? Or, worse than their usual nature...?
[she's at least
open to trying maybe]

[She shrugs.]
Like that.
