The form it took was a bit of a surprise, but I'm getting more used to that... normally, the execution would happen without needing to come together and find who was responsible.

...as am I. I was also relieved to see that the corruption didn't seem to spread, when we missed him last week; I'd been worried that would be the case. That we'd end up in a cycle with multiple corrupted killers, and it would just continue to grow worse.
Yeah. Well... They keep giving us the thing about how getting to know each other will keep things at bay, and it seems like everyone's been talking a lot, so - maybe we've got a chance.
[She sounds less than certain, but that's probably just the cynicism talking.]
It hasn't worked very well, but I've at least been attempting to clean up the shrine this week... keeping an eye on my partner, speaking with a few others, and trying to find out a bit more about this place, for the most part.

Well, I worked in food service, which is like an automatic entryway into dealing with horrible people all the time. But... Yeah. Basically everything here is easier than back home.
Well, Sol and Lune have said that if things go well here, there might be a way to make things better back home, too. So - let's call it a sidequest. A significantly less chaotic sidequest.
