I'm a different person than I was back then. For one, while I may have been weak for a rakshasa at the time, I'm considered to be one of the stronger ones now, so perhaps it no longer matters that I was once abandoned for it.
Power, as well as growing up, comes with its own set of issues... but it also means I'm capable of looking after myself, and that I have a place in the world.
