[He is tired as hell after a weekend of nothing but fear, they don't have painkillers here-- he sounds more exhausted than he generally likes to let himself sound.]
Before he just exhales an even more tired sigh, lying back on the bed with his hands folded behind his head. It's a more comfortable place to chill than the chair for exactly this reason.]
Reflection, then, or something that has a similar effect. I don't have any reason to cover up a second death now.
I didn't. I wasn't fond of him, I won't lie about that... but I had no reason to kill him. I dislike seeing those swords' use wasted as much as I'm sure anyone else does.
[...More because of what they are than because he actually wanted Swift Wind alive, but still.]
I expect whoever was responsible to come for me next, honestly, if I'm right about why they chose to act.
[She turns around, and it might seem like it’s to hold back whatever reaction she’s about to give - but she pulls something out of her pocket, too, unfolding whatever it is and glancing at it.
And then she turns back to him, surprised.]
...Well, I’ll be damned. You aren’t always completely full of shit.
I never have been. Any good liar still tells the truth often enough, you know.
[There's a touch of annoyance there, but, well. He can't complain when she seems to have confirmation it really wasn't him; the last thing he needs is people having even more reason to want him dead.]
[He was busy being threatened and having his legs broken at the time they were doing element math.]
But if you haven't already, try getting an answer as to whether anything besides Reflection could have let the culprit disguise themselves effectively-- because yes, I think Four fits the profile. I can easily see her killing someone who committed two murders and lived, so narrow down whether you're looking for a water user at all first; with the right materials, I could easily have done the same thing with no powers involved.
But I expect you'll get more evidence on the same person one way or another.
[If that's the right motive, well. Here he is, another exposed culprit, still alive. That's basically the only reason he's offering this much, not that he expects them to be stopped before he's targeted.]
The most I can do from here is tell you good luck. Just be cautious in pressing Four, if you choose to-- or do the opposite, if all else fails. Something might slip if she gets angry enough.

[You know. Killing time until he gets killed one way or another. He just raises a brow-]
What is it?
no subject
[Which might be why there’s a tight layer of anger resting behind her otherwise neutral tone.]
What was that you said this trial about not having done anything this week?

If you're here to accuse me of something, say it.

So you didn't have anything to do with this, at all?

[Even she's giving him a pass for that, though.]
I'll check, though.

If you manage to locate them, just what do you intend to do?
